Hardware: Compact Logixs, VFD’s, Remote I/O Festo Remote I/O and Pneumatic systems, Multiple control cabinets
Operation: Tray up to 20,000 lbs in hour of fruit
Scope: Consisted of dumping large totes (6 ft square 500 lbs. without juice ) conveyed with a heavy duty Hydraulic conveyor to a tote dumping system. Totes would be dumped and flipped with fruit filling into the even-flow bin hopper. Empty totes would be transferred via multiple conveyors to a large bin tote washer for sanitation.
Fruit is then pulled from even-flow bin via even-flow conveyor. Distributed through reyco juice extractor and shaker.
Empty drying trays are loaded on Feed Conveyor to be filled from shaker. Trays then reach a speed up conveyor to provide distance between trays and are delivered to 3 tray stacking assemblies.
Trays are pre-stacked in groups of 6. Once full the pre-stack group is pushed and loaded onto the tray stacking cart lift. Up to 42 trays will be stacked on the cart. Then cart is lowered ot the ground to be removed from stacking cage and delivered to the drying chambers.
